The Career Center offers a variety of workshops and events throughout the academic year.
Weekly workshops are offered on the following topics: interviewing, resume writing, networking, succeeding at a career fair and much more.
Slice of Advice panels are offered on a semester basis and are focused on trends and topics related to certain industries. Cal State Fullerton alumni are invited to participate in the panel discussions so students also have the opportunity to network.
The Career Center also hosts multiple career and graduate school expos during the fall and spring semesters. Examples of expos include the Graduate School Expo, Internship and Career Expo (all majors), Business Career Expo, Engineering and Computer Science Career Fair, and Education Network Expo. Attending the career fairs and expos provide a great opportunity to explore different industries, network with employers and engage in your job and internship search. Be sure to dress to impress, bring copies of your resume and practice your elevator pitch before attending a career fair or expo. For more tips read through Success at a Job Fair link below.
